3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed millk
dash of salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Melt chocolate morsels and sweetened condensed milk in a sauce pan (microwave). Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Spread into a wax paper-lined 8 x 8″ pan. Chill 2 to 3 hours. Turn fudge onto cutting board, peel off paper, and cut into squares.
Variations – may use other types of chocolate chips – milk, dark, etc.
